NHSF is looking for a highly motivated and organized Contract Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate needs to be able to work independently and part of team with a high level of organization and impeccable follow-through on time sensitive documents, requires excellent time management and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, process, distribute, track subcontracts as well as change request work
• Maintain document filing system using Timberline & Microsoft Office
• Schedule job status reviews with Project Managers
• Prepare reports & summaries of project status
• Other related duties as assigned or needed
• Occasional coverage at the reception desk

New Hampshire Steel Fabricators (NHSF) is looking to add a full-time Estimator to its sales department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Reviewing of contract drawings and specifications to establish a complete item by item scope
• Providing detailed drafting, engineering, raw material, fabrication, and installation costs by item in scope.
• Establishing accurate quantities, measurements, and up to date cost / data rates
• Creating allowances, contingencies, and qualifications as required by bid
• Communicating with outside vendors to get pricing for buyout products
• Communicating with clients regarding questions, missing information, and conflicts found on bid documents
• Working with field staff to provide accurate installation costs
• Attending descope meetings with clients to review pricing
• Timely pricing of change requests for jobs already under contract
• Exporting costs for bids and change requests to Sage

Qualifications

• Experience: Estimating background preferred. Misc Iron estimating experience is a plus.
• Skills: Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with Sage 300 software is a plus. Proficiency in numerical processing and problem-solving. Ability to stay organized and work on multiple bids and change requests with competing demands to meet deadlines.

Compensation

Salary based on experience, ability, skill set, and future growth within the company. We are a well-established 40+ years in business & growing, busy fast-paced steel fabrication shop in Goffstown, NH seeking a motivated Welder/ Fabricator for a full-time, long-term position. This position is ideal for a experienced welder or a recent welding program graduate looking to build a career in structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication.

Position Overview

The Welder/ Fabricator will fabricate and weld structural and miscellaneous steel components according to shop drawings & specifications in a production- oriented shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate & weld structural and miscellaneous steel components.
• Perform MIG welding (FCAW/GMAW); other processes a plus.
• Read & interpret shop drawings and details.
• Layout, fit-up, and weld assemblies accurately.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Maintain quality & safety standards.
• Keep work area clean & organized.

Qualifications

• Previous welding or fabrication experience preferred.
• Recent welding program graduate encouraged to apply- willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use basic measuring tools.
• Willingness to learn shop fabrication processes.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• AWS certification a plus (not required).

New Hampshire Steel Fabricators (NHSF) is looking to add a full time entry-level detailer to its Detailing/Engineering department.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Creation of complete, clear and accurate submittal and fabrication drawings
• Checking submittal and fabrication drawings for errors
• Coordination of items with other trades
• Coordinate and draft RFI’s as required
• Possible field work including site review and field measurement

Qualifications:

Education: Associate Degree

Experience: Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD. Experience with parametric 3D modeling is a plus. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Skills: Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook; effective interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal; ability to stay organized and work on multiple projects with competing demands to meet deadlines
