We are a well-established 40+ years in business & growing, busy fast-paced steel fabrication shop in Goffstown, NH seeking a motivated Welder/ Fabricator for a full-time, long-term position. This position is ideal for a experienced welder or a recent welding program graduate looking to build a career in structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication.
Position Overview
The Welder/ Fabricator will fabricate and weld structural and miscellaneous steel components according to shop drawings & specifications in a production- oriented shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate & weld structural and miscellaneous steel components.
- Perform MIG welding (FCAW/GMAW); other processes a plus.
- Read & interpret shop drawings and details.
- Layout, fit-up, and weld assemblies accurately.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Maintain quality & safety standards.
- Keep work area clean & organized.
Qualifications
- Previous welding or fabrication experience preferred.
- Recent welding program graduate encouraged to apply- willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to read a tape measure and use basic measuring tools.
- Willingness to learn shop fabrication processes.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- AWS certification a plus (not required).

- Starting pay range- $22-$25 per hour (based on experience)

Entry Level Draftsman / Engineering Position
New Hampshire Steel Fabricators (NHSF) is looking to add a full time entry-level detailer to its Detailing/Engineering department.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Creation of complete, clear and accurate submittal and fabrication drawings
- Checking submittal and fabrication drawings for errors
- Coordination of items with other trades
- Coordinate and draft RFI’s as required
- Possible field work including site review and field measurement
Qualifications:
Education: Associate Degree
Experience: Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD. Experience with parametric 3D modeling is a plus. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Skills: Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook; effective interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal; ability to stay organized and work on multiple projects with competing demands to meet deadlines
